The Lamar Dodd School of Art offers a number of courses focusing on special topics, as well as introducing consistently new and exciting courses for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Such topics range from practical research methods to in-depth research in the field of Art History and beyond. These courses offer a unique opportunity for both our faculty and students to explore a particular subject that is not typically taught with such intensity.

Advanced topics in Scientific Illustration with a focus on 3D modeling within a production pipeline. Topics may range from creating models in ZBrush for texturing and lighting in Cinema 4D to preparing models for 3D printing and interactive educational viewers.
